Josephine Yau M. L. found her love for art and design when she was just a child. While growing up in Belgium, she picked up design skills and learned to sketch and paint from many gifted European teachers. After finishing her studies at the School of Visual Arts, she continued her education in graphic design at the Academy of Art & Design.

She has always wanted to excel in both painting and digital design. Right after that, she took a bold step and moved to Asia, eager to experience the blend of Eastern and Western influences. While working for different Japanese design companies for nine years, she became more interested in and fascinated by Asian cultures and food. Traveling has always inspired her work and especially Japan played a significant role in her creative journey.

 

Everyone sees the world differently, and that's what makes Art & Design so fascinating. Recently, she has developed a strong interest in finding new materials that can transform everyday life in fresh, modern ways. Today she is passionate about art, design and food. She believes that food and design are a powerful combination. After all, who can resist great food, especially when it's wrapped in something that makes you smile?
